Social media for pubs, planned and posted for you
Tell Venuesmith what's coming up at the pub (the big matches, quiz night, Sunday roasts, the Christmas menu) and it plans weeks of Instagram and Facebook posts around it. Every post is written in your pub's voice, put on your branding and booked in for a good time of day. You look through the plan, change what you like and approve it in one go.
Instagram and Facebook. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
One sentence plans the next six weeks
Type what's coming up the way you'd say it to your team. Venuesmith turns it into a plan of posts you can read through and edit before anything is made.
“The Six Nations weekends, Sunday roasts, Friday live music and Christmas party bookings”

Built for how a pub actually runs
Built around the fixtures
Subscribe your pub to the competitions you show, from the Premier League to the Six Nations, and plans are built from the real fixture dates and kick-off times. Just before a match post goes out, the fixture is checked again, and the post is held if the date or kick-off has moved.
Your menu and your prices
Add your menu once and posts about the roast or the pie of the week quote the dishes and prices you actually serve.
Quiz nights, gigs and bank holidays
Quiz nights, live music and private hire come from your events list, UK bank holidays are worked in for you, and drafts can check the local forecast, so a wet Sunday gets a fireside post.
Sounds like your pub
Set your tone, emoji rules, hashtag style and the words you'd never use. A separate check reads every draft against them and rewrites anything that drifts off.
What the posts look like
Two examples for a made-up pub. Yours use your own photos, layouts, logo and colours.
thepillarandpost Sunday roasts from 12 until they're gone. Beef, pork or the nut roast, all £16.50 with proper gravy and Yorkshires the size of your head. Book a table through the link in our bio.

Questions pub owners ask
Can Venuesmith post about our football and rugby fixtures?
Yes. Subscribe your pub to the competitions you show on its Fixtures tab, such as the Premier League or the Six Nations, and narrow it to one team if you only show their games. Plans use those fixtures, and each match post is checked against the latest fixture data just before it publishes, so a moved kick-off gets held for you to fix.
Does it post to Facebook as well as Instagram?
Yes. Venuesmith publishes to Instagram and Facebook today, with each post formatted for the platform it goes to. Stories, email, WhatsApp and SMS are on the roadmap, so they aren't available yet.
We run more than one pub. Does that work?
Yes. Each location keeps its own brand voice, logo, menu, fixtures and connected accounts, so one pub never posts in another's voice. The Pro plan covers five locations and Agency covers fifty.
Will anything go out without me seeing it?
No. Every post waits in your queue until you approve it. You can approve a whole plan in one go, or open any post and change the caption, the photo or the time first.
